inlingua Cardiff

Established in 2007, our school is based in the vibrant heart of Cardiff, just a 10 minute casual walk from the main shopping centre.  We are easily accessible by any mode of transport.  Being so close to town there are cafes and restaurants that can cater for everyone’s needs.  Cinemas, bowling alleys, museums and much more are close by so you will never be short of something to do.

Anyone studying with us is made to feel part of the family and encouraged to embrace the sense of warmth and fun that radiates within our school.  Each member of staff is dedicated to all of our students’ needs, providing a personable and caring environment in which to study.

The school itself has a homely feel, with 5 classrooms that take a maximum of 12 students.  By limiting the number of students in each classroom our aim is to make sure that each person receives as much individual attention from our tutors as possible.  During breaks there is a bright seating area for students to relax, or they can use the computer room which is solely provided for them.

Our courses follow the inlingua method and materials but we believe that variety is essential and use additional materials to further tailor our lessons to the classes needs.  Our mission aim:

The method for success

Since we learn languages best by speaking it, a factor for success in the inlingua method is that only the target language is spoken in the classroom.

The inlingua method is based on decades of practical experience and continues to be enhanced and perfected. Language trainers are trained in the universal inlingua methodology. They design their lessons according to standardized training techniques and specially developed training materials.  The student’s progress is assessed at regular intervals to make sure that the lessons are carefully tailored to their individual needs.
