Accommodation
Accommodation is one of the first things that comes to mind when you plan on studying in another country. Various options are available to students when looking for somewhere to stay.
Students may also choose to rent private accommodation, having the possibility to share the place with other people or live on their own. In order to do so, students will want to get in contact with letting agencies specialising in renting properties to students or directly to landlords. The rents are usually given as a per room basis and are payable weekly. If you would like to stay in Private accommodation, you must think about the additional costs that will be included, like gas, electricity and water. Also, if you are living on your own, you will not benefit from practicing your language skills while at home.
We cannot recommend any particular agency but here is a list of websites that should help you in your search:

This type of accommodation is usually less expensive than a Hotel, but you will need to check for any extra charges like bed linen. You normally have a choice of accommodation from private bedrooms with shared living areas to en-suite studio rooms.
This type of accommodation is very popular for those who like to have their independance, but not the full repsonsibility of their own rented flat or house.

- Homestay accomodation: We recommend homestays as an excellent way to find out how British people live and, of course, practise the language. We personally visit each home before we add them to our portfolio of homes available to our students. They will be provided with their own bedroom and home cooked meals as well as plenty of conversation. Our homestays vary in distance from the school. Some are as close as 10 minutes walk and others are approximately 45 minutes by local transport. Instructions on how to get to and from the homestay will be given as soon as the place is booked for the student.
Breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal is all included in the price of your accommodation, you will only pay for your transport to and from the school. Please see our Terms and Conditions before booking your Homestay accommodation.
Places are limited for students with any specific dietary or medical requirements, so you must book early.
- Hotels and B&Bs:Although this is not a sustainable solution, you may find yourself needing this kind of temporary accommodation if you have not been able to arrange lodging before arriving into the UK.
