How it works

DAY ONE

Your first day at the centre is a time for settling into your chosen course, meeting new people and preparing to enjoy your stay with us.

On your first day at inlingua Cardiff, you will also take a multiple choice placement test.

Your result will indicate to us your level of English and help us to assess your current knowledge in both vocabulary and grammar terms, enabling you to join the right class immediately and to progress with confidence. Your teacher will spend a lot of time checking that your first lesson is at the appropriate level and that you are comfortable in your surroundings.

On Mondays, all new students have an Information Meeting which will include health and safety. You can use this meeting to learn about Cardiff, about excursions and tours, and about a wide range of social activities offered by the centre. You'll also be able to obtain information about the centre's structure and the people who work here.
