Method

The inlingua method takes a simple, yet subtle and highly effective approach to language training. The method is aimed at developing the ability of using the target language as quickly and effectively as possible. The inlingua method emphasizes the communication skills necessary for practical social and business situations.

The right atmosphere for adult learning: At inlingua, we believe that you can reach your highest potential of learning when you are motivated, interested and happy. Our team of professionals always strive to accommodate our clients, and always consider their individual needs and objectives when organizing a particular program.

Training takes place in the target language: From the very first class, you are taught only in the target language. You are encouraged to actually think in the studied language rather than translate from the primary language. Time spent translating reduces the time available for practicing your new language and interferes with your efforts to think in the new language.

Learning hands on: In order for you to understand what you are taught, whether it is grammar or vocabulary, you will be given role plays to act out in the classroom.  This will give you the necessary tools for you to feel confident when you are in a similar situation outside of the school.

Ask questions: You are invited to ask questions. This allows you to use the structures of your new language, to experiment and to be creative.
